Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor has been one of our long time favorite Saturday destinations. We had always noticed people walking along the beach underneath the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, on our most recent trip we set out to find a park. There is a beach area you can walk along, but not all the way to the bridges, just a great photo-op of the Narrows.

Directions

West Bound:
Take Exit 8
Turn Left onto 24th St NW
Left on 95th Ave NW
Left on Stone Dr NW
Stone becomes Lucille Pkwy NW
Right on Doc's Dr

East Bound:
Exit 9
Left on 22nd Ave NW
Left on 32nd St NW
Right on 95th Ave NW
Left on Stone Dr NW

Stone becomes Lucille Pkwy NW 

Right on Doc's Dr

You will find a small public parking lot and a short walkway to a gazebo with beautiful views of the Tacoma Narrows Bridges.
